Job summary

Remote Team Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to own complex U.S. payroll processes for a multi-location workforce in a fully remote role.

You will ensure accurate, on-time payroll, manage data in ADP Workforce Now, and support regulatory compliance across locations. You’ll collaborate with Finance, HR, and Sales to verify compensation data, administer variable pay programs, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll administration experience.
• Direct experience processing U.S. payroll.
• Experience administering complex payroll programs with commissions or variable pay.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll taxation, wage and hour laws, and compliance.
• Experience reviewing and reconciling payroll data and resolving discrepancies.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly, and supplemental payrolls accurately and on schedule.
• Audit earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, benefits, and timekeeping information.
• Review payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve issues before payroll submission.
• Administer commissions, bonuses, incentives, and performance-based compensation programs.
• Calculate and validate sales commissions and incentive payouts.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, HR, and leaders to verify data.
• Handle employee payroll inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Prepare payroll reports and analysis for Finance, HR, and leadership.
