Job summary

Procare HR is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist for a remote role in the United States. You will lead the implementation of client payroll services, act as the payroll SME, and train clients and internal users while driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in payroll analytics or administration, 3+ years in payroll management or data analytics, and strong knowledge of payroll laws. UKG Ready and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, finance, accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration, payroll analytics, or payroll system development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management, data analytics, or related field.
• Familiarity with payroll processes, including payroll auditing, calculations, tax withholdings, wage deductions, and timekeeping systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with payroll processing platforms, including HRIS; UKG Ready experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• PEO or HR Shared Services experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• As the Payroll Implementation Specialist, you will ensure successful implementation of client payroll services.
• Serve as the client’s initial payroll contact and payroll SME.
• Test payroll-related modules and workflows and train clients and internal users.
• Participate in process improvement and issue resolution.
