Job summary

Charlie Health is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage biweekly and bi-monthly payroll for employees and contractors across the United States. You will be the internal expert for UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management, handling configuration, testing, enhanced controls, and issue resolution with a focus on accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of US multi-state payroll experience with 2,000+ employees
• Hands-on with UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management at configuration level
• Direct experience on payroll/HRIS/timekeeping implementations or major module rollouts
• Knowledge of multi-state wage and hour rules, state/local tax registrations, garnishments, W-2/1099 reporting
• Advanced Excel and large dataset reconciliation
• Track record of improving payroll processes with measurable gains

Responsibilities

• Execute biweekly and bimonthly payroll for employees and contractors, from preview through funding and post-payroll validation
• Serve as internal UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management expert: configuration, testing, and support
• Identify and implement payroll process improvements, automation, and controls
• Manage day-to-day timekeeping administration and pay rule maintenance
• Draft and maintain payroll documentation and end-user training
