Align HCM is building a contractor bench of experienced UKG Pro Payroll consultants for current and upcoming client engagements. This remote opportunity allows you to join Align HCM for contract projects matched to your expertise, availability, and experience.

In this role, you will support UKG Pro Payroll implementations, manage lifecycle activities, and translate requirements into clear documentation and solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with full-cycle HR/payroll system implementations, strong UKG Pro Payroll experience.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or client-facing environments.
• UKG Pro certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience configuring, developing, testing, and supporting UKG Pro Payroll solutions.
• Strong technical skills including SQL queries, basic scripting, and relational database concepts.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through rollout.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
• Contractor readiness to engage on a contract basis when opportunities arise.
• Availability with notice and potential start date for contract engagements.
• For US/Canada: travel up to 10%; for Philippines: remote with no travel.
• Authorized to work without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted consultant for UKG Pro implementations, focused on Payroll.
• Support full implementation lifecycle: requirements, gap analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live support.
• Translate business requirements into documentation, project plans, functional specs, and system solutions.
• Support data migration activities including mapping, validation, testing, and conversion.
• Manage multiple client deliverables and timelines while maintaining client relationships.
• Lead client meetings, workshops, training sessions, and presentations.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery.
