Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a payroll professional to manage end-to-end multi-state payroll using Workday and OSV in a fully remote role. The candidate will reconcile payroll, calculate prorated wages, ensure accurate tax withholdings, and maintain records compliant with SOX.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED plus 5+ years payroll experience (3+ years with Workday). Familiarity with ticketing systems and strong Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Five years of payroll experience including Workday experience.
• Proficiency with end-to-end payroll processing and multi-state rules.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and payroll tax withholdings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process exempt/non-exempt payroll biweekly for multiple states using Workday and OSV.
• Reconcile payroll period to period and review deductions.
• Ensure accurate tax withholdings and reciprocity rules; handle tax notices.
