Stride, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to lead end-to-end payroll processing for exempt/non-exempt employees using Workday and OSV. This remote role supports multiple states and requires strong accuracy in tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and compliance with SOX.

Responsibilities include reconciling payroll periods, handling year-end tasks, and addressing employee inquiries promptly through the ticketing system within SLA guidelines. Eastern Time availability is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED, Associate's degree, or professional certificate.
• Five years of payroll experience, including Workday payroll.
• Three years of Workday payroll experience.

Aufgaben

• End-to-end payroll processing for exempt/non-exempt (biweekly) multi-state payroll using Workday and OSV.
• Reconcile payroll from period to period.
• Calculate prorated wages and deductions for new hires, terminations, status changes.
• Ensure tax and payroll deduction withholdings are accurate, including reciprocity rules.
• Possess a solid understanding of Workday retros and their processing.
• Maintain payroll records in SOX compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues including tax adjustments for prior pay periods and years with minimal direction and supervision.
• Address employee inquiries via ticketing system within SLA.
