Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Nebraska is seeking a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payments from payers and manage line-level validation in Epic WQs. You will analyze underpayments, discrepancies, and rebill projects while staying current with payer changes and contract terms.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in hospital finance operations, CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 expertise, and strong analytics. Remote work is possible for eligible states, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in health care reimbursement and hospital financial operations.
• In-depth knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and Medicare reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve daily Epic WQ encounters.
• Resolve price/contract discrepancies and implement fee schedule corrections.
• Work on rebill projects to recoup underpayments.
• Be SME on payer reimbursements and contracts; implement changes as needed.
• Research non-covered or denied charges to identify root causes and assist with appeals.
• Identify coding, charging, and billing issues and educate staff to resolve them.
