Mosaic Life Care in Missouri seeks a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payer payments. You will analyze underpayments, resolve price and contract discrepancies, and support rebill projects using Epic.

This role requires 5+ years in healthcare finance, CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 knowledge, and Epic systems experience. Remote work is available for specific states; travel to off-site locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum five years of health care experience with hospital financial operations and coding knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve daily encounters in Epic WQs.
• Identify root causes of price/contract discrepancies and implement corrections.
• Work on rebill projects to recoup underpayments.
• Act as SME on payer reimbursements and contracts; coordinate with CDM/Revenue Integrity.
• Research non-covered/denied charges and assist with appeals.
• Monitor and educate staff to resolve billing issues and ensure proper payments.
• Prepare monthly measurement reports from Epic and present findings for approval.
• Create and maintain contracts in Epic.
• Assist startup processes for new programs and identify reimbursable services.
• Research CPT/revenue code issues referred by departments.
• Coordinate routine projects with structured steps.
• Other duties as assigned.
