Job summary

Orca Bio is seeking a highly motivated Account Director to lead payer-access efforts in the Southeast US. This remote role covers FL, GA, TN, KY, WV, NC, SC, AL, OK, MS, AR, LA, and parts of TX, focusing on securing access for Orca products with payers and Medicaid agencies.

You will build payer strategies, present data to decision makers, and collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons. Frequent travel (~40%) and strong leadership are essential to drive reimbursement and market access across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 12+ years payer/hospital reimbursement experience.
• Proven relationships with Commercial Payer Medical Directors, Medicare Part A, and Medicaid stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and data-tracking skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for ATCs on payer-access engagements.
• Develop and execute payer strategy for regional and national accounts.
• Present data and clinical practice goals to support product value.
• Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons to deliver disease-state presentations.
• Maintain favorable access and reimbursement for Orca products across accounts.
• Partner with Academic Hospitals to ensure patient access.
• Frequent interaction with Case Management to resolve access issues.
• Track KPIs and dashboards for market access results.
• Uphold Orca Bioscience values and ethics.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
