Orca Bio is seeking a senior Payer Field Account Director to drive coverage for Southeast US, working with regional and national payers including Medicaid and Medicare contractors. You will lead payer strategy, collaborate with Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal and Marketing, and onboard academic centers to ensure timely patient access.

The role requires 12+ years in payer/hospital reimbursement, strong relationships with payers, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to travel ~40%.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; 12+ years payer/hospital reimbursement experience in healthcare.
• Proven relationships with Commercial Payer Medical Directors, Medicare Part A, Medicaid stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with payer data tracking experience.
• Proactive, results-driven, collaborative leadership in a complex reimbursement environment.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation abilities; regulatory knowledge of patient privacy, FDA, CMS.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute payer strategy for regional and national payer accounts to secure access.
• Engage with academic hospitals/health systems and onboarding treatment centers.
• Collaborate with field sales, medical affairs, legal, quality, and marketing teams.
• Present clinical and economic data to support value proposition and reimbursement.
• Track KPIs and maintain dashboards for payer access results.
