Job summary

Orca Bio is hiring a Payer Field Account Director for the Southeast US to secure coverage for our portfolio. You will lead payer-access initiatives with ATCs, build regional and national payer strategies, and present data-driven insights to influence policy and reimbursement.

You will collaborate with Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Marketing; travel ~40% is expected to onboarding centers and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 12+ years payer/hospital reimbursement experience in healthcare.
• Proven relationships with Commercial Payer Medical Directors, Medicare Part A, State Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, policy development and data-tracking capabilities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~40%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single-point-of-contact for Authorized Treatment Centers on payer-access engagements.
• Develop and execute payer strategy for regional and national accounts.
• Present analyses of data, goals, guidelines, and outcomes to support value proposition.
• Leverage Medical Science Liaisons and providers for product and disease-state presentations.
• Maintain favorable access and reimbursement for Orca products across accounts.
• Partner with Academic Hospitals/Health Systems to ensure patient access.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Marketing.
• Track KPIs and ensure dashboards accurately reflect market access results.
