Job summary

Orca Bio is seeking a Payer Account Director to secure favorable coverage and reimbursement for our cell therapies across Southeast US markets, including FL, GA, TN, KY, WV, NC, SC, AL, OK, MS, AR, LA, and part of TX. You will develop regional payer plans, engage with Academic Hospitals, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely patient access.

The role requires 12+ years in payer/hospital reimbursement, strong leadership, and excellent presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 12+ years related Payer/Hospital reimbursement experience in healthcare.
• Proven relationships with Commercial Payer Medical Directors, Medicare Part A, State Medicaid.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in Payer data tracking tools.
• Excellent presentation skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single-point-of-contact for Authorized Treatment Centers regarding payer-access engagements.
• Develop and execute payer strategy for regional and national accounts to secure access.
• Present analyses of data and guidelines to support product value proposition.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Marketing teams.
• Maintain favorable access and reimbursement for Orca products across lifecycles.
• Travel (~40%) for onboarding and meetings.
