Orca Bio seeks a seasoned Payer Account Director to lead access in the US Southeast. You will coordinate with regional and national payers, academic health systems, and field teams to secure favorable coverage and reimbursement for Orca products.

Expertise in payer policy, pricing communication, and center onboarding is essential. Travel ~40% is required; you will collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Marketing to execute payer strategies and monitor performance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 12+ years payer/hospital reimbursement experience.
• Proven relationships with Commercial Payer Medical Directors, Medicare Part A, and State Medicaid.
• Strong analytical skills with payer policy data tracking.
• Problem solving and multi-tasking abilities are essential.
• Leadership, collaboration, and experience in complex reimbursement environments.
• Excellent presentation skills, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of patient information protection regulations (OIG, FDA, CMS).
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration.
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Willingness to travel ~40%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute payer strategy for regional and national accounts.
• Onboard treatment centers and engage with payers to secure access.
• Present data analyses and economic outcomes to support product value.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Marketing.
• Track KPIs and maintain dashboards for payer access results.
• Ensure compliant payer policy and reimbursement across the portfolio.
• Engage with Academic Hospitals/Health Systems to secure patient access.
• Support cross-functional teams in payer-related initiatives.
