Job summary

Orca Bio in the United States is seeking a Payer Account Director for the Southeast region. You will develop payer strategies, engage with Regional and National payers, and collaborate with Field Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Marketing to secure access for Orca products.

The role requires 12+ years of payer/hospital reimbursement experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and presentation skills. Occasional travel (~40%) and competitive compensation are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 12+ years of payer/hospital reimbursement experience.
• Proven relationships with commercial payers, Medicare Part A, State Medicaid.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, self-starter with complex reimbursement experience.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single-point-of-contact for Authorized Treatment Centers on payer-access engagements.
• Develop and execute payer strategies for regional and national accounts.
• Present analyses of clinical data, practice goals, and economic outcomes to support value proposition.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Marketing across departments.
• Maintain favorable access and reimbursement throughout product lifecycle.
• Travel as needed to onboard sites and meet with payers.
