Job summary

Orca Bio is seeking a senior Payer Field Account Director to secure favorable coverage and reimbursement for Orca products in the Southeast US. You will develop payer strategies, engage with Regional and National payers, and onboard treatment centers to expand patient access.

Ideal candidates have deep payer experience, strong analytical and presentation skills, and are willing to travel ~40% for site onboarding and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 12+ years of payer/hospital reimbursement experience.
• Proven relationships with Commercial Payer Medical Directors, Medicare Part A, State Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in payer policy data tracking tools.
• Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of regulations governing protection of patient information, OIG, FDA, and CMS policies pertaining to access.
• Open to frequent travel (~40%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as single-point-of-contact for Authorized Treatment Centers on payer-access engagements.
• Develop and execute payer strategy for regional and national payer accounts.
• Present analysis of data and clinician goals to support product value.
• Leverage Medical Science Liaisons and providers for comprehensive disease-state presentations.
• Maintain favorable access and payer policies across Orca products.
• Partner with Academic Hospitals/Health Systems to ensure patient access.
• Interact with Case Management to resolve access issues.
• Track KPIs and dashboards for market access results.
• Adhere to Orca Bioscience’s core values and policies.
