UnitedHealth Group is hiring a Remote Patient Support Center Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients. The role offers full-time hours, primarily remote with PST evening shifts, and paid training.

You'll support patients, schedule appointments, verify information and assist with insurance and referrals, using EPIC and Microsoft Office tools, while upholding service and Lean process standards.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexibility to work full-time Sat-Wed with 11:30 am–8:00 pm PST shifts, overtime as needed.

Aufgaben

• First point of contact for patients; set the tone for a positive experience.
• Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and care.
• Schedules appointments and procedures following guidelines.
• Uses multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs.
• Verifies patient information and documents in the Electronic Health Record (EPIC).
• Informs patients of insurance and referral responsibilities.
