Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Interim Support Coordinator to deliver exceptional inbound patient support, coordinate resources, and facilitate patient access to prescribed therapies. Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; or a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience within a service-driven environment.
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Advanced knowledge of medical insurance terminology and reimbursement/insurance processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Empathetic listening to interact effectively with patients and providers.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Strong interpersonal skills and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound phone support for patients, caregivers and providers.
• Coordinate resources and facilitate patient journeys through the program.
• Explain benefits to payers and assist with enrollment, reimbursement and affordability.
• Act as liaison with prescribers, patients, and health care providers.
• Escalate complex cases according to program policy.
• Maintain records per standards and regulations.
• Build relationships with patients and health care providers.
