Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Care Coordinator for a fully remote contract role. You will provide inbound and outbound phone support to payers, patients, caregivers, and providers, coordinating patient benefits, product orders, and appointment scheduling to facilitate the patient journey.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of prior authorization/appeals, and experience in reimbursement/insurance across payer types (Medicare/Medicaid/VA).

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree and 2 years of reimbursement/insurance, healthcare billing, physician office, health insurance processing preferred, or in lieu of a degree, a High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of reimbursement/insurance, healthcare billing, physician office, health insurance processing

Responsibilities

• Care Coordinator may be regionally aligned and expert on benefit coordination and payer/provider interactions
• Advocate for patients regarding eligibility, enrollment, affordability, and access to prescribed therapy
• Establish relationships and maintain rapport with healthcare providers and patients
• Serve as point of contact to healthcare providers for ongoing support and relationship development
