TEKsystems is seeking a Care Coordinator to support patients, providers, payers, and pharmacies by coordinating verification, prior authorizations, appeals, and patient services. This fully remote contract role emphasizes fast-paced collaboration, quality service, and compliant documentation across multiple systems.

The position requires call center experience, strong communication, and knowledge of medical and pharmacy insurance processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare reimbursement, insurance, billing, benefits verification, or patient services.
• Call center or customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of medical and pharmacy insurance, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, providers, payers, and pharmacies.
• Coordinate benefit verification, prior authorizations, appeals, and insurance support.
• Assist with patient enrollment, eligibility, affordability programs, and treatment access.
• Build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and privacy regulations.
• Resolve reimbursement and insurance-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support positive patient outcomes.
• Report adverse events and safety concerns as required.
