Job summary

Carenet Health is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support patients, providers and members via inbound calls, helping with insurance questions and navigating coverage. This remote, work-from-home role offers health, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) match, PTO, FSAs, wellness programs and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; background check will be verified.
• Healthcare experience in front office, PBX/911, or similar.
• Strong computer experience: data entry, navigation, keyboarding.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Excellent customer service and communication; empathetic.
• Able to work day and night shifts with alternating off.
• Able to provide 2 monitors 22 inch with HDMI/Display ports.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls from patients, providers and members.
• Help manage calls for patients who may be sick or in emergent situations.
• Support members with insurance needs, questions or concerns.
• Explain how to use their health insurance and navigate providers.
• Provide 24/7 Triage Support and assign RN for health advice.
• Answer inquiries on benefit claims, appeals, and authorizations.
