Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year medical/clerical experience involving customer service.

• Ability to interact with customers of all ages in a tactful and pleasant manner.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all aspects of patient care, including registration, referrals, procedures, surgeries, etc.
• Handle patient financial account services: benefit assessment, insurance verification, pre-certification, pre-authorizations, pre-determination, and referrals.
• Ensure patient information and documentation are uploaded to EPIC in a timely manner.
• Maintain alignment with Mercy mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
