Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Scheduling Clerk for a fully remote, part-time PRN role supporting Peaks Regional Office. You will schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, transcribe external orders, and handle high call volumes across locations.

The position requires strong customer service, data entry accuracy, and insurance validation. You will mentor new hires and uphold our mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4+ years revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of 2 years revenue cycle experience.
• 2 years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize multiple systems to perform all scheduling functions as needed.
• Excellent computer skills with the expectation to self-resolve technical issues with minimal assistance
• Providing patients with preparation and location information.
• Correctly collecting and inputting patient data into the system.
• Validating patient insurance and explaining benefits as needed.
• Manage multiple phone calls, including answering, transferring, and conferencing between multiple parties.
• Acting as a mentor for new hires as needed.
• Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
