Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time, fully remote Scheduling/Registration professional. You will schedule and pre-register patients for various services, transcribe orders, and handle high call volumes across locations.

The role requires accuracy in data entry, insurance verification, and providing clear patient information. Responsibilities include using multiple scheduling systems, resolving basic technical issues, and supporting new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4 years revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of 2 years revenue cycle experience and/or 2 years contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other department bookings.
• Transcribe external orders from physicians.
• Handle high call volumes for multiple locations and departments.
• Utilize multiple systems to perform scheduling functions.
• Input patient data accurately into the system and verify insurance benefits.
• Provide patients with preparation and location information.
• Mentor new hires as needed.
• Adhere to Intermountain Health service behavior standards.
