Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Part-time, fully remote Scheduler/Pre-Registration professional to support the Peaks Regional Office. You will schedule appointments, pre-register patients, and handle related administrative tasks across multiple locations with accuracy and excellent patient service.

In this PRN role, you will manage high call volumes, verify insurance benefits, input patient data, and provide preparation and location information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent OR 4 years of revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of revenue cycle experience and/or 2 years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other department bookings.
• Transcribe external orders and handle administrative tasks related to scheduling.
• Manage high call volumes across multiple locations and departments.
• Input patient data accurately and verify insurance benefits for patients.
• Provide patients with preparation and location information.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and use multiple scheduling systems.
• Mentor new hires as needed and uphold Intermountain Health values.
