Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a remote Scheduling/Pre-Registration Specialist to schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, procedures, and more across multiple locations. You will transcribe external orders, manage high call volumes, and ensure accurate patient data entry and insurance verification.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in revenue cycle or contact center roles, strong computer skills, and the ability to support new hires while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent OR four years of revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of two years of revenue cycle experience and/or two years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other department captures.
• Transcribe external orders and handle high call volumes for multiple locations.
• Input and validate patient data, verify insurance and explain benefits as needed.
• Assist with mentor responsibilities for new hires and support Intermountain Health standards.
