Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking a Patient Financial Services Supervisor to lead daily revenue cycle operations, mentor team members, and improve cash collections across HB and PB functions in a multi-hospital setting.

The role requires strong analytical and leadership skills, experience with hospital billing and payer processes, and a commitment to accurate workflows, performance metrics, and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hospital Patient Financial Services or revenue cycle.
• 1–2+ years of team supervision or leadership experience.
• Experience with hospital billing HB/PB and payer processes.
• Ability to manage workflow, productivity, quality, service levels, and employee performance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with Epic Resolute HB/PB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily PFS operations for billing, insurance follow‑up, denials, self‑pay, cash posting, and final account resolution.
• Manage queues, AR inventories, aging, unresolved accounts, unapplied cash, and backlogs; align work to volume and staffing.
• Monitor staffing, workload, volumes, and service levels; rebalance resources to maintain performance.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of workflows, SOPs, payer requirements, and documentation standards.
• Identify operational barriers and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop PFS associates; provide timely feedback and action.
• Monitor KPIs including cash, AR days, denial and appeal performance; act on gaps.
