Responsibilities

Respond to billing inquiries and collect outstanding balances.
Explain patient bills, claims processing, and payment options clearly and compassionately.
Collaborate with medical assistants and clinic staff to resolve payment concerns.
Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
Post payments and refunds accurately and timely; maintain account documentation.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Privacy Act, and 42 CFR Part 2.
Identify discrepancies and initiate corrections as needed.
Meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
