Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Contact Center Service Advocate I to work remotely, handling scheduling, patient inquiries, and data entry to ensure an outstanding patient experience. You will manage calls, document interactions, and collaborate with clinical staff to keep operations smooth.

The position offers full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package and a pay range of $17.00 - $34.15 per hour. Training is remote and schedules may include weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, some undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience, call center environment preferred.
• Flexible and positive attitude with a patient-first approach.
• Proficient PC skills including basic Microsoft Excel.
• Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Polish speakers preferred.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
• Provide courteous and professional service, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Accurately enter patient information and appointment details into scheduling system.
• Communicate appointment details and necessary instructions clearly to patients.
• Address scheduling conflicts and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth scheduling operations.
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide reminders.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and transactions with patients.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
