Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Patient Engagement Center Advocate to handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and address patient needs. This fully remote role involves maintaining high-quality service and meeting KPI goals. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in customer service or a related field and a high school diploma. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with various computer programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience in a call center, customer service, medical office or as a receptionist.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming phone calls for all sites promptly and in an exceptional quality manner.
• Schedule patient appointments in the EMR system based on physician preferences.
• Document patient requests and pertinent information via EMR.
• Ensure calls are handled efficiently to meet daily call production goals.
• Coordinate efforts with team members for efficient workflow.
