Qualifications

• Required: 2 years directly related medical billing and customer service experience for billing inquiries.
• Preferred: Some college coursework in healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls pertaining to patient inquiries.
• Handle outbound dialer calls related to patient balances.
• Take credit card payments over the telephone and post to patient accounts accurately.
• Set up monthly payment plans on patient accounts.
• Update demographics to include address and telephone numbers based on patient calls.
• Document actions in the system notes for auditability.
• Assist patients with MyChart billing inquiries and EOB questions.
