Qualifications

• Two years of financial experience or one year of patient accounts experience.
• Familiarity with payer follow-up and claim status checks.
• Experience researching and resolving insurance claim denials.
• Epic Resolute preferred if available.

Responsibilities

• Billing all third-party payers through a claims processing vendor or for appeal of denied claims.
• Identify billing issues and ensure timely claim filing and reimbursement.
• Perform follow-up activities and identify reimbursement issues.
• Resolves payer rejections daily and performs online corrections to edited claims.
• Update account information in Epic Resolute and process adjustments.
