Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer previous experience with customer service and call center environments.
• Prefer experience with medical billing processes.

Responsabilités

• Respond to incoming patient calls and initiate outbound calls using our automated dialing system.
• Aid patients in managing their accounts, including arranging payment options for outstanding balances.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Identify and gather updated insurance information.
• Investigate Explanation of Benefits from insurers to understand payments and discrepancies.
• Evaluate patients for charity eligibility and address general inquiries.
• Navigate multiple patient account systems and payment platforms.
• Maintain accurate, current notes in the systems.
• Meet designated collection and productivity objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Follow policies in the Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct.
• Engage in the Corporate Compliance Program and stay aware of guidelines.
• Ensure a confidential remote work area.
• Assist with other projects as directed by management.
