Job summary

You will respond to calls, assist with payment options, and verify insurance information to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service and call centers preferred.
• Experience with medical billing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient calls and initiate outbound calls using an automated dialing system.
• Aid patients in managing accounts and arranging payment options.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Identify and gather updated insurance information.
• Investigate Explanation of Benefits and payment discrepancies.
• Evaluate charity eligibility and resolve account issues.
• Maintain accurate notes in patient account systems.
• Meet designated collection and productivity objectives.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with policies and conduct.
• Maintain a confidential remote work area.
• Support other projects as directed by management.
