Skin and Cancer Institute is seeking a Patient Financial Services Specialist to support the accounts receivable lifecycle, resolve complex billing inquiries, and improve patient understanding of benefits. This remote, full-time role reports to the Patient Financial Services Manager and focuses on timely payment resolution in a high-call-volume environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare call center or high-volume patient support environment.
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims, or healthcare revenue cycle functions.
• 1+ years of remote working experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls, resolving billing inquiries and payment options.
• Review and reconcile patient and insurance balances for accuracy and posting.
• Follow up on outstanding balances and coordinate with collections when needed.
• Educate patients on explanations of benefits and coordinate with payers as required.
• Document interactions thoroughly in the EHR/PM system and maintain compliance.
