Job summary

Family Care Center is a rapidly expanding behavioral health provider with nearly 30 outpatient clinics nationwide. We are seeking a Patient Collections Specialist to manage inbound and outbound calls, mail statements, set up payment plans, and propose accounts for bad debt.

This remote role offers an hourly wage of $18.00–$20.00 depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
• One year of clerical experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Handle the collection of payments on patient accounts.
• Communicate with patients about their financial responsibility for services.
• Answer inbound and outbound calls, take payments and resolve issues.
