Southeast Primary Care Partners is seeking a Call Center Representative for Patient Accounts & Collections to manage self-pay balances, handle patient calls, post payments, and set up payment plans.

You will review EOBs, apply payor policies, ensure compliance with FDCPA, HIPAA, and FAP, and maintain accurate account notes while delivering empathetic service. This remote role offers growth within Revenue Cycle Management and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in healthcare billing, patient collections, or medical call center.
• Experience reading EOBs and patient billing statements.
• Knowledge of major payor types and policies.
• Experience using a Practice Management system.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable broadband internet for remote work.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned patient A/R accounts and follow-up on self-pay balances.
• Conduct inbound/outbound calls regarding balances and payment options.
• Post payments in the PM system and process refunds.
• Set up and monitor compliant payment plans.
• Review charges, payments, and insurance processing for accuracy.
• Explain EOBs and payor determinations to patients.
• Ensure compliance with FDCPA, HIPAA, and FAP guidelines.
• Maintain detailed notes of patient interactions.
