CVS Health is hiring an Inbound Patient Account Services Specialist to advocate for patients, provide high-level customer service, and resolve billing questions. You’ll support patients from order to reimbursement, document interactions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processes.

The role emphasizes empathy, strong communication, and the ability to navigate complex billing while working in a collaborative environment with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, collections practices, and/or infusion services.
• Experience with computers, including 1+ years working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Effective written and verbal customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Ability to offer emotional support and empathy.
• Flexibility with work schedule to meet business needs, including 8-hour shifts 8:00am–8:00pm EST (Mon–Fri).

Responsabilités

• Develop a deep understanding of CVS Specialty processes and how customer service impacts a patient journey from order to reimbursement.
• Help patients navigate complex billing and reimbursement processes for timely billing and reimbursement.
• Build trusting relationships with patients through meaningful conversations.
• Manage difficult or emotional situations with empathy and urgency.
• Accurately document each interaction in the Revenue Cycle system.
• Record, review, and take next steps to follow up and resolve patient concerns.
• Determine eligibility for payment plans by gathering and examining patient information.
• Meet call center metrics for call volume and call quality.
• Use technology to liaise with other CVS Specialty departments.
• Demonstrate an outgoing, professional, and caring presence on the phone.
