Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Inbound Patient Account Services Specialist to advocate for patients and provide high-quality customer service throughout billing and reimbursement processes.

You will resolve patient billing questions, document interactions, assess payment plan eligibility, and collaborate with CVS Specialty teams to improve the patient experience and timely reimbursements. This full-time role offers benefits and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• 6 months of healthcare billing and/or infusion service experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Empathy and patience when assisting patients.
• Schedule flexibility to cover 8:00am–8:00pm EST shifts.

Responsibilities

• Learn CVS Specialty processes and impact on patient journeys.
• Assist patients with billing and reimbursement navigation.
• Build trusting relationships through meaningful conversations.
• Handle difficult situations with empathy and urgency.
• Accurately document interactions in Revenue Cycle systems.
• Record, review, and follow up on patient concerns.
• Assess eligibility for payment plans.
• Meet call center metrics for volume and quality.
• Collaborate with other CVS departments via technology.
• Maintain a professional and caring telephone presence.
