CVS Health Corporation in the United States is seeking an Inbound Patient Account Services Specialist to advocate for the patient, provide high level customer service, resolve billing questions, and support reimbursement workflows.

The role involves building trust with patients, documenting interactions in Revenue Cycle systems, exploring eligibility for payment plans, and meeting call center metrics while collaborating with CVS Specialty teams.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, collections practices, and/or infusion services.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Flexibility with work schedule, including 8:00am–8:00pm EST shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of CVS Specialty processes and patient journey from order to reimbursement.
• Help patients navigate complex billing and reimbursement processes for timely billing.
• Build trusting relationships with patients through meaningful conversations.
• Manage difficult situations with empathy and urgency.
• Document each interaction in the Revenue Cycle system.
• Record and follow up on patient concerns and determine eligibility for payment plans.
• Meet call center metrics for call volume and quality.
• Liaise with other CVS Specialty departments using available technology.
• Demonstrate an outgoing, professional, caring presence over the phone.
