Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC seeks a Patient Access Liaison I to be the primary contact for access to USC academic medical centers and Health Sciences Campus in Los Angeles. You will answer, screen, and direct calls and web-based communications, verify basic information, and help schedule initial and follow-up appointments while upholding HIPAA standards and delivering courteous service.

This role offers remote work as/when deployed and collaboration across a large care network with cross-location

Qualifications

• Req High school or equivalent.
• 2 years minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or 1 year in healthcare.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish or Chinese are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and direct incoming/outgoing calls and messages.
• Schedule and confirm initial and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain professional, HIPAA-compliant communications.
• Assist with messaging and coordination across teams.
• Support as needed across the Patient Access Center.
