Job summary

USC Care Medical Group seeks a Patient Access Liaison to serve as the primary contact for access to USC academic medical centers and Health Sciences Campus. You will answer, screen, and direct telephone calls and electronic communications, using a call management system and various messaging platforms.

You will handle scheduling, insurance verification when needed, and follow USC/Keck standards for customer service and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years in customer service or 1 year in healthcare.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and direct calls and multichannel messages.
• Maintain professional, courteous service per USC/Keck standards.
• Verify insurance when needed and schedule/confirm appointments.
• Escalate issues per guidance to Level 3/Lead or Supervisor.
• Work from home when deployed, following guidelines.
