Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using EMR systems; EPIC preferred.
• Ability to work remotely with strong self-management.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Handles inbound calls for a high-volume practice while working remotely.
• Verifies and updates insurance information and demographics.
• Registers new patients in EMR.
• Documents patient requests/concerns in EMR (EPIC).
• Resolves inquiries and escalates urgent concerns as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
