Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners in New Jersey is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, scheduling appointments and handling insurance verification.

You will register new patients, update demographics in EPIC, document requests, triage, and support timely access to care while working remotely.

Strong communication, HIPAA compliance, and experience with EMR systems are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior use of EMR systems preferred.
• Demonstrates strong self-management in a remote work environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Handle inbound calls for a high-volume practice while working remotely.
• Verify and update insurance information and demographics in EMR.
• Document patient requests/concerns in EPIC.
• Resolve patient inquiries and escalate emergent concerns as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
