Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners seeks a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact, facilitating appointments, registrations, and insurance verification in a remote setting. You will triage, coordinate with providers, and support timely access to care while ensuring an excellent patient experience.

The role requires strong communication skills, HIPAA-conscious behavior, and prior EMR use; remote work is standard, with travel limited to local needs as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior use of EMR systems preferred.
• Strong self-management in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients promptly and cordially.
• Handles inbound calls for a high-volume practice remotely.
• Verifies insurance and updates demographics.
• Registers new patients in EMR.
• Documents patient requests in EMR (EPIC).
• Addresses inquiries and escalates urgent issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
