Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Interacts professionally with patients and colleagues.
• HIPAA compliance in daily tasks.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior EMR system experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Manages patient check-in and checkout processes.
• Answers calls about appointments and general inquiries.
• Reviews patient charts for upcoming appointments and required information.
• Performs scanning/sorting in the EMR system.
• Verifies and updates insurance information with patients.
• Collects patient payments and performs other duties as assigned.
