Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Patient Access Manager to guide providers and patients through coverage, enrollment, and support programs across the GSK Oncology portfolio. This field-based role acts as a single point of contact, supporting onboarding and ongoing treatment journeys with a focus on non-promotional patient access and HIPAA-compliant communications.

The role requires 3+ years in reimbursement or access programs, willingness to travel up to 20%, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, helping patients and providers navigate insurance verification, prior authorization requirements, and access criteria.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP office staff, providing approved information on oncology-specific care, including benefit discussions and program resources.
• Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
• Support patient enrolment in GSK services, including PAP, and guide patients and offices through enrolment requirements and consent capture.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies using approved materials.
• Document interactions and manage cases in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM in line with program standards.
