Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager to serve as the field-based SPOC for providers and patients in the Oncology portfolio. You will guide onboarding, access, and ongoing phases of the treatment journey, addressing coverage, coding, and payment questions after a prescribing decision has been made.

You will educate patients and provider offices on payer coverage, help with enrollment in patient support programs, and coordinate with back-office teams to ensure seamless access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience or access programs.
• Travel up to 20%, including overnights.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SPOC for patients, caregivers and HCP staff, providing approved information on oncology care and access.
• Assist patient enrollment in GSK services (e.g., PAP) and guide through enrollment requirements.
• Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
• Interface with payer accounts, specialty pharmacy, and oncology sales teams to resolve access issues.
• Document interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud and follow SOPs for data confidentiality.
