Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Patient Access Manager to serve as the primary field-based contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers within the Oncology portfolio. You will guide onboarding and ongoing treatment journey, addressing coverage, coding, and payment questions after a prescribing decision is made.

You will support patient enrollment in PAP and related programs, educate on cost-sharing, and coordinate with Specialty Pharmacy and back-office teams to ensure seamless access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or access navigation.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% including overnights.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SPOC for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff, providing approved information on oncology care and coverage.
• Educate on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies for GSK Oncology products.
• Assist with provider offices on benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Document interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM per program standards.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data and escalation of access issues when needed.
