Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Field-based Patient Access Manager to serve as the single point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers across the Oncology portfolio. You will guide onboarding, access, and ongoing treatment journey support, handling coverage, coding, and payment questions after a prescribing decision is made.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or navigating insurance verification and prior authorization.
Ability to travel up to 20% including overnights.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Serve as the field-based SPOC for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff, providing approved information on oncology care and benefit discussions.
Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
Support enrollment in GSK services and guide offices through enrollment requirements and consent capture.
Document interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud and maintain compliant records.
Escalate complex payer issues to higher-level access specialists and leadership.
Ensure activities comply with HIPAA and internal compliance guidelines.
