Job summary

• Strong customer service; HIPAA compliance knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary contact for access to USC academic medical centers and USC Health Sciences Campus.
• Assigns daily duties, balances workload, schedules and leads daily huddles.
• Answers, screens and directs calls and electronic messages; uses call management systems.
• Schedules and confirms appointments; verifies insurance coverage and informs patients of potential costs.
• Provides guidance and ad hoc training to Level 1 and 2 staff; supports remote work as needed.
